IBA CO-SPONSORS FUTURETHON FOCUSING on refugees and internally displaced persons

October 6-7 at USC Campus

September 25, 2018

MAKE YOUR GLOBAL IMPACT!

Introducing Hacking IDPs, a 48-hour Futurethon designed to kickstart sustainable and long-lasting solutions to the global IDP (Internally

Displaced Persons) problem. The winning team’s innovation could address living conditions, humanitarian aid, vulnerability, healthcare, collapsed public services, information exchange, local governance and more. After all, it is a moral imperative to help fellow humans who struggle for basic essentials.

One group will be given a summer fellowship with USC & the International Business Accelerator to develop and implement their solution by 2019 and special consideration for additional funding from US AID’s Global Development Lab.

The IBA is excited to cosponsor this event with the University of Southern California, INCUBATE USC program and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Global Development Lab
